The Full Story
About
This is your time to shine and gain some inside knowledge on the beautiful culture and traditions that Polynesia holds dear. Our expert performers work directly with you to teach you the history of our islands and how to use the tools that we use in our own performances. These events are free to the public and run every first and third Wednesday of every month.

Maori Poi Balls
Every first Wednesday of each month, you can learn how to twirl the Maori poi ball, a soft tissue-filled ball attached to a braided rope, and even buy your own pair to take home with you. After the demonstration, our wahine hula dancer will grace the stage along with our talented musician for a short free performance.

On the third Wednesday of the month, our kane performer will demonstrate how to spin the ever popular Samoan fireknife. These "practice" knives do not have blades or the ability to set fire! Purchase your own fireknife to take home and impress your friends with!
